DIY: Fabric Tassel Garland

Ik heb een feestelijke slinger met kwastjes gemaakt van restjes retro stof. Cool voor een feestje, maar ook voor bijvoorbeeld om een muur te decoreren. Leuk en snel te maken!
Wat heb je nodig:

• restjes stof 
• schaar
• stuk touw of lint

En hoe maak je deze superleuke slinger?

Knip met de schaar reepjes uit de stof van ca. 40 cm lang en 8 cm breed.
Vouw de reepjes dubbel en knip dit weer in een paar repen, maar niet helemaal. Laat ca. 2 cm vrij.

Knoop nu de reepjes stof aan een stuk touw of lint vast op de manier zoals ik op de foto's laat zien.

Sla de reepjes om het touw het trek het naar beneden, zodat je een kwastje hebt.

Je kunt je slinger net zo lang maken als je wilt.

Hang de slinger op aan de muur of aan een plankje in huis. Met deze slinger is het elke dag feest!

I have made a festive garland of retro fabric scraps. Cool for a party, but also for decorating a wall. Fun and easy to make!
What do you need:

• scraps of fabric
• scissors
• long piece of string or ribbon

And how do you make this super cute garland?

Cut with scissors strips of fabric about 40 cm long and 8 cm wide.
Fold the strips in half and cut it again in a few strips, but not all the way. Leave about 2 cm free.
Tie the strips of fabric to a piece of string or ribbon like I show in the pictures.
Flip over the strips to the rope and pull it down, so you have a tassel.
You can make your garland as long as you want.
Hang the garland on the wall or on a shelf at home. With this garland it's a party every day!
